Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GovTenderIQ (the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of the service
GovTenderIQ is an information service that aggregates, structures and indexes public procurement data published by official sources — primarily Tenders Electronic Daily (TED), the online version of the “Supplement to the Official Journal” of the European Union — to help users discover public tenders, track contract awards, configure alerts and access market intelligence such as winner history and price benchmarks.
2. No warranty on data accuracy or completeness
GovTenderIQ re-publishes and derives information from third-party public sources. While we take reasonable care in how we ingest and process this data, we do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate, up to date or free of errors. Tender deadlines, values, procedures and other details shown in the Service are provided for informational purposes only.
The official notice published on the TED portal (or the relevant national portal) always prevails. Before relying on any information to prepare or submit a bid, you must verify the relevant details directly against the official source and, where applicable, the official tender documents.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
The Service is offered on a free tier and a paid “Pro” tier, billed monthly and processed by Stripe. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain Pro access until then. We do not offer partial-month refunds except as required by law.
Right of withdrawal (EU consumers): if you are a consumer in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. However, because the Pro subscription is a digital service that is made available to you immediately upon payment, by subscribing you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once the digital service has been fully or partially supplied, in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service using automated means outside of any functionality we explicitly provide;
- Attempt to circumvent access controls, rate limits, or subscription tiers;
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute data obtained from the Service as a standalone competing product without our prior written consent;
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and the compilation, structuring and presentation of data, is owned by us or our licensors. Underlying public tender data remains subject to the rights and re-use terms of its original publisher.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GovTenderIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of profit, business opportunity, or contract, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or from any decision made in reliance on information provided through it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction — to be completed].
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
